Thiamethoxam Precautions
Wear rubber boots, rubber gloves, a mask, and work clothes when applying the pesticide. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while applying the pesticide. Wash thoroughly immediately after application.
Do not contaminate any bodies of water; do not dispose of the pesticide solution or empty containers in water, and do not wash equipment in rivers or ponds to avoid harming fish and contaminating water sources.
Dispose of used containers properly; do not reuse them or discard them carelessly.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women must not come into contact with this product.
Be mindful of adverse effects on bees and silkworms. Do not use this product near flowering plants during their blooming season, near silkworm rearing facilities or mulberry orchards, or in areas where natural enemies such as Trichogramma wasps are present. Closely monitor the impact on nearby bee colonies during application.
First Aid Measures for Thiamethoxam
Symptoms of poisoning: headache, nausea, vomiting, chest tightness, etc. First aid for poisoning: 1. Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing, rinse the affected skin with plenty of water, wash with soap, and then rinse thoroughly with water. 2. Eye contact: Immediately pull the eyelids open and rinse with water for at least 15 minutes, then seek medical attention. 3. Inhalation: Immediately move the affected person to fresh air. If the person has stopped breathing, perform artificial respiration. Seek medical attention. 4. Ingestion: Rinse the mouth thoroughly with water, then immediately take the product label to a doctor for treatment. 5. Antidote: There is no specific antidote; treat symptomatically.
Thiamethoxam Storage and Transportation Instructions
This product should be stored in a well-ventilated, cool, and dry warehouse. During transportation, take strict precautions against exposure to direct sunlight and rain; do not store or transport it together with food, beverages, grain, feed, or similar items. Keep out of the reach of children, away from pregnant women, nursing mothers, and other unauthorized persons, and store under lock and key.
